At ART Lab, we are delighted to announce the remarkable success of the SHOYE Project, an initiative designed to enhance youth productivity and improve livelihoods. Through focused training, impactful research, and sustained support, the project has driven meaningful change in communities, leaving a lasting impact on hundreds of families.
Key Achievements
The SHOYE Project has surpassed its goals by delivering outstanding results:
- Training 425 Youth for Productivity and Income Growth
The project provided targeted training to 425 young individuals, equipping them with the skills and resources needed to enhance their productivity and increase their income. - Household Income Growth Beyond Expectations
- Among the 204 sampled beneficiaries, 94.6% (193 individuals) achieved the target of increasing their monthly income by at least BDT 6,700.
- The average monthly income of these beneficiaries now stands at BDT 10,907, showcasing the tangible impact of the initiative.
- Empowering Women for Economic Independence
Women beneficiaries have been a core focus of the project. Out of the 184 sampled women, 100% increased their monthly income to BDT 6,673, demonstrating the project’s emphasis on gender inclusivity and empowerment. - Supporting Male Beneficiaries
Male participants have also seen substantial progress, with 100% of the 20 sampled men increasing their monthly income to an impressive BDT 10,550 through the project’s tailored support. - Household-Level Impact
The average monthly household income has risen to BDT 12,895, reflecting the project’s holistic approach to improving family livelihoods. Of this, an additional BDT 4,049 can be directly attributed to the SHOYE Project’s support, excluding baseline income.
