Building Research Capacity for a Resilient Future: Lessons from the Field
Sustainable development requires strong local capacity to generate, analyze, and use data effectively. At ART Lab, we place special emphasis on capacity building as a cornerstone of long-term impact. Through targeted training programs on tools such as Power BI, Outcome Harvesting (OH), and Most Significant Change (MSC) methodologies, we have helped partner organizations strengthen their Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems.
These initiatives go beyond one-time workshops — they include hands-on coaching, customized tool development, and ongoing technical support to ensure knowledge is translated into everyday practice. Whether working with NGOs on peacebuilding projects or supporting public health teams with real-time data analysis, our approach empowers local teams to independently manage complex information and make adaptive, evidence-based decisions. As Bangladesh faces pressing challenges in climate change, healthcare access, and economic resilience, investing in research capacity is more important than ever. ART Lab is proud to stand alongside our partners in building a stronger, more data-driven future for the country.
