Experience & Activities
Shojib Ahmed has extensive experience leading and contributing to national-level and multi-sectoral research projects. At Maxwel Stamp Ltd., he served as a Field Supervisor for the “Updating the Revised Strategic Transport Plan for Dhaka (URSTP),” where he successfully managed 16 field teams consisting of 160 enumerators, developed field plans, supervised daily operations, and ensured timely delivery of high-quality datasets. At ARCED Foundation, he has worked across multiple impactful studies, including air pollution and worker productivity, old age allowance targeting, skills development, brick kiln health impacts, and socio-economic assessments. His responsibilities consistently included household surveys, stakeholder coordination, field monitoring, and ensuring ethical compliance in data collection. He has also contributed as a Field Supervisor for Development Research Initiative (dRi), where he managed field teams for studies on job mobility and informality, as well as garment industry work environments across South Asia. Additionally, at FREPD, he contributed to the National Assessment of Secondary Students (NASS), ensuring accurate and standardized data collection across schools.
In health-focused research, Shojib worked with Enmasse Consulting Ltd. and Action for Innovative Resources (AIR), contributing to maternal health, RMNCH service assessments, and facility-level monitoring studies. His experience also includes participation in large-scale evaluations such as CDSP IV impact assessments and UK strategic communication research projects across multiple divisions. Beyond research, Shojib has a strong background in event supervision and planning through roles at Red I Event House and Star Gallery BD, where he has managed event logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, client communication, and on-site execution of corporate and cultural events.
