Sujit Kumar Dey is an experienced field research and survey operations professional with more than 10 years of practical experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection, survey supervision, field management, community engagement, and MEL support. He has worked with reputed research and consultancy organizations, including ARCED, Innovation for Poverty Action, Evaluation Consultancy System Ltd., Bets Consultancy, and Maxwell Consultancy. As a Field Operation Manager, Sujit supports the planning, coordination, supervision, and quality assurance of field-based research activities. He has strong experience in managing enumerator teams, conducting household surveys, facilitating FGDs and KIIs, maintaining respondent communication, and ensuring high-quality data collection through digital platforms such as SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox, and Google Forms. He has conducted and supervised large-scale field assignments across multiple districts of Bangladesh, covering areas such as air pollution, labor productivity, education, poverty, village courts, public health, infrastructure, and community development. Sujit Kumar Dey has extensive experience in managing field research operations for development, education, labor, public health, environmental, and community-based studies. His professional background includes supervising field teams, coordinating respondent coverage, checking data quality, supporting digital data collection, and ensuring compliance with research protocols. At ARCED, he worked as a Supervisor on multiple research assignments, including the Air Pollution and Workers Productivity study, Air Filter Household Additional Survey, Skill for Growth Human Capital study, Teachers’ Knowledge on Student Skills Baseline, and Whistleblowing Study. In these projects, he supervised enumerators, conducted field surveys, coordinated with stakeholders, validated data, and maintained confidentiality in sensitive research contexts.

He also worked with Innovation for Poverty Action as a Field Officer, contributing to baseline, midline, and endline surveys on education, poverty, village courts, and development interventions. His responsibilities included household data collection, school-level data collection, Focus Group Discussions, Key Informant Interviews, digital record management, and timely submission of datasets to MEL teams. In addition, Sujit has contributed to assignments with Evaluation Consultancy System Ltd., Bets Consultancy, and Maxwell Consultancy.
