Sujit Kumar Dey has extensive experience in managing field research operations for development, education, labor, public health, environmental, and community-based studies. His professional background includes supervising field teams, coordinating respondent coverage, checking data quality, supporting digital data collection, and ensuring compliance with research protocols. At ARCED, he worked as a Supervisor on multiple research assignments, including the Air Pollution and Workers Productivity study, Air Filter Household Additional Survey, Skill for Growth Human Capital study, Teachers’ Knowledge on Student Skills Baseline, and Whistleblowing Study. In these projects, he supervised enumerators, conducted field surveys, coordinated with stakeholders, validated data, and maintained confidentiality in sensitive research contexts.
He also worked with Innovation for Poverty Action as a Field Officer, contributing to baseline, midline, and endline surveys on education, poverty, village courts, and development interventions. His responsibilities included household data collection, school-level data collection, Focus Group Discussions, Key Informant Interviews, digital record management, and timely submission of datasets to MEL teams. In addition, Sujit has contributed to assignments with Evaluation Consultancy System Ltd., Bets Consultancy, and Maxwell Consultancy. His work included arsenic exposure surveys, coastal embankment impact assessment, strategic planning support, field reporting, and primary data analysis. Across these assignments, he has demonstrated strong skills in data accuracy, team coordination, ethical fieldwork, and deadline-based project delivery. At ART Lab, Sujit contributes to smooth and reliable field implementation by leading survey teams, monitoring data quality, supporting field logistics, and ensuring that research activities are conducted ethically, accurately, and on time.
