Advanced Research Thoughts Lab Ltd. invites applications for the position of Data Enumerator. This position is suitable for responsible, detail-oriented, and field-oriented candidates who have interest and experience in survey data collection, field interviews, household surveys, digital data collection, and development-sector research activities.

About the Position
The Data Enumerator will support ART Lab’s research, monitoring and evaluation, survey, assessment, and consultancy assignments by collecting accurate and reliable field data. The selected candidate will work with field supervisors, research teams, and project staff to conduct interviews, complete survey forms, maintain data quality, and follow ethical data collection procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct household surveys, individual interviews, and field-level data collection activities
- Collect accurate data using paper-based or digital survey tools
- Use KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO, Google Forms, or similar platforms when required
- Follow survey guidelines, field protocols, consent procedures, and ethical standards
- Coordinate with field supervisors and project teams during data collection
- Check completed survey forms for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Report daily field progress, challenges, and updates to the supervisor
- Support KIIs, FGDs, observations, and other qualitative data collection activities when required
- Maintain confidentiality of respondent information and project data
- Travel to assigned field locations as required by the project
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, Public Health, Education, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Business, or any relevant discipline
- Experience in survey data collection, field interviews, household surveys, or project-based fieldwork will be preferred
- Good communication skills in Bangla; basic English communication skills will be considered an advantage
- Ability to communicate respectfully with respondents, community members, and local stakeholders
- Ability to follow instructions, field protocols, and supervisor guidance
- Willingness to travel and work in field locations when required
- Basic smartphone, tablet, and computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
Preferred Skills
- Experience with KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO, Google Forms, or similar digital data collection tools
- Previous experience in baseline studies, endline studies, needs assessments, impact studies, market research, or social research
- Experience conducting household surveys, KIIs, FGDs, IDIs, or community-level data collection
- Understanding of informed consent, respondent confidentiality, and ethical field practices
- Ability to work under pressure and complete assigned targets within deadlines
- Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, research firms, consultancy organizations, or development projects will be preferred

The final salary and engagement modality will be determined based on the applicant’s experience, field skills, interview performance, project requirements, and suitability for the position. ART Lab does not charge any application fee at any stage of the application or selection process.
